Gear icon (settings) >>> Issues >>> Add Issue Type >>> Fill out the form (Type = Sub-Task Issue type) >>> Add

When to Use It

Way of splitting the issue into smaller chunks or allow various aspects of an issue to be assigned to different people.

How to Create It

1. Open the issue you'd like to be the parent issue
2. Select the [✓]] create subtask icon under the title of the parent ticket
3. Add an issue summary and select Create
